As of October, 1997, the FDA requires evidence of an average of 5 CE credits per year specific to mammography. (MQSA requires 15 credits in 3 years).

The information included in these mammography home-study and on-line courses is designed to answer fundamental questions on breast imaging and breast disease. After completion, you will have a better understanding of your important role in the detection of early breast cancer. You will also be better prepared to answer your patients' questions during their mammography exam.

For those radiographers interested in entering the field of mammography, these courses are designed to fulfill the requirement for initial training as directed by the FDA’s Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA). We realize there are many advantages to attending a comprehensive seminar with hands-on experience. However, we also understand that not everyone has the resources or the time to attend a 3 or 4-day initial training in mammography seminar.
