Who
We Serve
As of October, 1997, the FDA requires evidence of an average
of 5 CE credits per year specific to mammography. (15 credits in 3 years
- MQSA).
Busy radiographers just like you! Actively pursuing a career
in allied health; working various shifts; devoting more time to overtime
hours; pressed by staff shortages; feeling the financial constraints of
the managed-care environment; juggling home and professional responsibilities;
having little time for seminars. AND, you are also required to obtain
credits for continuing education, often with little or no reimbursement
from your
employer.
At RadComm, Inc., we understand your situation and would like
to offer you a choice at a competitive price.
So many of us experienced mammographers began our careers
in mammography with on-the-job training. We didn’t have the opportunity
to take advantage of thorough training seminars. The information included
in these homestudy courses is designed to answer fundamental questions on
breast imaging and breast disease. After completion, you will have a better
understanding of your important role in the detection of early breast cancer.
For those radiographers interested in entering the field of
mammography, these courses will serve the requirement for initial training
as directed by the FDA’s Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA).
We realize there are many advantages to attending a comprehensive seminar
with hands-on experience to fulfill this requirement. However, we also understand
that not everyone has the resources or the time to attend a 3 or 4-day seminar.
